Swedesford Recreation Area opened in the Spring of 2022 at the corner of Swedesford and Ship Roads. It offers a playground with two age-appropriate play structures, a zip line, and swings. Your furry friends can enjoy a roomy dog park, with separate play areas for large and small dogs. A grass trail leads to the pond and the Chester Valley Trailhead and Church Farm Lane play area. There is a large parking lot, restrooms and a water fountain. Plans are underway for a disc golf course to open in the fall.
