Do you enjoy the outdoors? Are you interested in preserving open space and taking an active stewardship role of the parks of West Whiteland Township? The Parks and Recreation Commission serves in an advisory role to the Board of Supervisors regarding a variety of park activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, making recommendations on park and trail development, long term planning initiatives for park needs and recreation department programs. The Parks and Recreation Commission works to preserve and maintain our community park system. The system provides a balance of active and passive recreational areas and facilities for the use and enjoyment of individuals, groups and families of all ages, who live or work in the Township.
