The Board of Supervisors (BOS) will begin the conditional use hearing for the Master Plan for The Walk at Exton Town Centre (site of the Exton Mall) at their September 24 meeting. Due to a heavy agenda, the hearing will be limited to one hour and will continue on October 8. Most likely, the September 24 meeting will be primarily administrative, and the plans are expected to be presented at the October 8 meeting.
The developer calls The Walk at Exton Town Centre "a pedestrian and wellness-oriented mixed use town center, inclusive of a variety of residential, retail, office, institutional, and recreational uses which will serve as the focal point for West Whiteland Township."
The conditional use hearing with the BOS follows recommendations for approval of the Master Plan by the Planning Commission on August 19 and the Historical Commission on September 8.
