PennDOT will present the Route 100 Northbound Widening Project at the West Whiteland Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. The presentation will include project details and a Q&A session for the public.
The Township is moving forward with plans to add a third northbound lane on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike), between the Route 30 Bypass and the northbound on-ramp. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027 and is expected to take 12–15 months.
The project is funded through PennDOT and the DVRPC Transportation Improvement Program, and aims to reduce long-standing congestion near the Exton train station and nearby commercial areas.
