While construction on the new Ship Rd. Couplet road continues, the southbound lane of Ship Rd. will be closed from the Chester Valley Trail (CVT) crossing to Lincoln Hwy. starting Sept. 25. The northbound lane will remain open, and local traffic will have access to Ship Rd., Green Valley Rd., and Sylvania Rd. The detour is expected to last through October 9, depending on weather conditions.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Swedesford Rd., Route 100 (Pottstown Pk.), and Business US 30 (Lincoln Hwy.). See the link to the detour map.
