Curbside Pick-up for Bulk Items

One bulk item a week will be collected at the curb. A bulk itme is a single item which cannot fit into a Township trash bag or weighs more than 40 lbs., but can be lifted by 2 people. All items that can fit into a Township trash bag must be placed inside the bag.  Visit the webpage for more information.

The following items are acceptable for curbside collection.

  • Bikes
  • Dishwashers
  • Mattresses
  • Box springs
  • Push mowers (remove gas and oil)
  • Sofas, chairs and furniture that can be lifted by 2 people
  • Washers and dryers

Electronics

If you have large electronic items, please consider scheduling a pick-up with Retrievr. They accept a wide variety of items, such as TVs, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, mini fridges and others. They do charge a $12.50 doorstep pick-up fee, but all items are recycled rather than being taken to the landfill.

Retrievr accepts the items listed in the diagram below (larger items may have an additional fee). Visit Retrievr's website for more information.

Bicycles and Sewing Machines

On Sunday, October 29 from 12-3 pm, bring your sewing machines (working condition) and bikes (rust free, no trikes, please) to West Goshen Municipal Complex at 1025 Paoli Pike, West Goshen, PA. A donation of $20 is requested to help offset shipping costs overseas.
