1. RESOURCES: Chester County has information about resources for residents affected by Hurricane Ida in one place.
2. SURVEY: You may have heard that all storm damage must be reported to the municipality in which it occurred. To help with this data collection, Chester County and Pennsylvania developed a Storm Damage Survey tool to self-report damage to homes and businesses. The survey results will help Chester County and Pennsylvania apply for federal funding to assist those with property damage from Ida. it is important to document everything with photos of the damage and receipts for repairs and cleaning. Chester County will verify damage claims submitted by West Whiteland residents and businesses with Township officials. If we are not already aware of flood damage at your property, we will contact you to arrange a meeting after receiving survey results from the County.
