Beginning at 6:30 pm at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting on November 10, the Board will hear testimony about two adjacent development projects: Ship Run proposes 95 single-family homes and 68 townhouses on the southern part of the Laborers’ Training property and a portion of the land once occupied by Entenmann’s bakery; 690 East Lincoln Associates proposes a convenience store with a gas station on the remaining portion of the old Entenmann’s site.
The developers have coordinated on the design of these projects to include a major improvement to the public road network (a portion of the “Ship Road Couplet”) and an extension of the Chester Valley Trail. Due to the type of development proposed, these projects are subject to a two-step approval process: a “conditional use” review followed by “land development” review. This formal hearing is part of the conditional use review. The public is invited to attend (virtually) and will have an opportunity to ask questions in the course of the hearing.
If you would like to participate in the virtual meeting, please register to attend. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The meeting agenda, packet and plans for the two proposed projects are available to view on the Township website. If you have questions regarding the proposed development projects, please contact John Weller, Director of Planning and Zoning, at firstname.lastname@example.org
