On January 3, 2018, the PA Department of Environmental Protection issued an Administrative Order directing Sunoco to immediately suspend all work on the Mariner East 2 pipeline project authorized by DEP permits. On February 2, 2018, Sunoco filed an appeal (Case 2018012) of the Administrative Order with the PA Environmental Hearing board.
