[ARCHIVED] Getting to the Eagles Parade

Pre-purchased fares required, cash not accepted

If you don’t have a monthly or weekly Septa pass, you may purchase a One Day Individual Independence Pass - Special Parade Price $10.00 – or a One Day Family Independence Pass on Septa’s website.  


Getting to the parade by train from Exton

There is no additional parking at the stations.  Parade go-ers are encouraged to arrange for a friend, family member or ride-hauling service to take you to the train station.

SEPTA service from train stations in West Whiteland to 30th Street:

Whitford Station – a.m. service from 5:00 a.m. to approximately 7:49 a.m.

Exton Station – a.m. service from 5:02 am to approximately 7:51 a.m.


Amtrak service from Exton to 30th Street is running on a normal schedule.

Getting back from 30th Street on regional rail

Return p.m. service from 30th Street to Whitford, Exton and the other stations from 2:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.

NOTE:  Rail service for commuters very limited

SEPTA service on the Paoli-Thorndale train will be limited to the Thorndale, Exton, Whitford, Paoli and Ardmore stations.  Service terminates at 30th Street Station.


NO a.m. outbound service from Center City to Exton and Whitford

NO p.m. inbound service from Exton and Whitford to Center City


Reminder:  Amtrak is running on a normal schedule.


Getting to the parade by bus from Exton or West Chester

Go to the West Chester Transportation Center (Parking Garage/Bus Depot at New & Market Streets).  

Take the 104 Bus to 69th Street Transportation Center and transfer to the FREE Market-Frankford Line toward 30th Street or 13th Street.

Go to the Exton Transportation Center (Parking Garage at Exton Square Mall, near the library).  

Take the 92 Bus to King of Prussia.  Exit at King of Prussia Plaza (Transit Center) & transfer to Bus Routes 124 or 125 (toward 13th & Market).
