Weston Way Partners II, Inc., submitted a conditional use application for the development of the approximately 50-acre property along King Road that until recently was the Weston Solutions office campus. This application is the first step in a two-step review process and will be followed by a land development plan.
The application is proposing 50 single-family homes using the “cluster” development option. Under this option, lots may be as small as 22,000 sq.ft. (about half an acre), but at least 30% of the tract must be preserved as permanent open space. The application also shows that the historic Morstein Mansion will be preserved and re-utilized.
The Planning Commission will be reviewing the application for the first time on October 14, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Main Meeting Room of the Township Building, and the Historical Commission is scheduled to review it on October 13 at 7:00 pm. The reviews by these commissions will be followed by a formal hearing before the Board of Supervisors at a date yet to be determined.
The plans will be available for the public to view on-line by close-of-business on October 10, or you can contact Township staff if you would like to see them before then.
