A hole opened by the bore under the wetlands in Meadowbrook Manor on Saturday, February 27th. It now has been filled with grout. The PA Public Utility Commission and the Chester County Conservation District (on behalf of the PA Department of Environmental Protection) have reviewed the site. CCCD concluded that the hole is outside the wetlands. However, at the urging of West Whiteland, when construction is done, ET will remove the grout and replace it with native soil to protect the nearby wetlands. The area is safe and construction has resumed.
