Energy Transfer released a statement today that referenced the West Whiteland Township Police Department, in response to charges filed by the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. To clarify, at no time did the West Whiteland Township Police Department request Energy Transfer to provide security for any of its work sites in West Whiteland Township. The West Whiteland Township Police Department did not have any issues concerning the construction of Energy Transfer’s pipeline through the Township that would have required the assistance of private security.
