How to Pay Your Township Real Estate Taxes
Annual tax bills are mailed in February. You can pay online, via mail or by phone.
- 2% DISCOUNT if paid on or before April 30
- FACE if paid on or before June 30
- 10% PENALTY if paid after June 30
If a bank or mortgage company escrows funds for this tax, they will pay your tax on your behalf. Some banks/mortgage companies directly receive tax bills while others need the property owner to submit the bills to the bank/mortgage company. Please check with your bank/mortgage company for their process.
Missing your tax bill and need a copy? Call 1-866-539-1100 or email rebilling@keystonecollects.com. Be sure to include your full name and property address in your email or voicemail.
Pay Online
Keystone Collects website. This is the easiest and most convenient payment option. You can use a credit card (2.5% fee) or a bank account (no fee). You will need your invoice number from your tax bill. If you do not have it, call Keystone and request your invoice number.
Pay by Mail
Make checks payable to Keystone Collections Group.
Please include the bottom portion of your bill and select Discount, Face or Penalty. Payments must be postmarked by the due date for the specific period. If you would like a receipt, you can print one from the Keystone Collects website after the check has cleared by entering your invoice number. You can also include your entire bill and a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment. Pay the exact amount due and remit to:

Pay by Phone
Pay with a credit card or bank account information by calling Keystone Collections Group toll free at 1-866-539-1100. Please have your account information available when calling.
Pay by Drop-Box
A drop-box is available in front of the Chester County Intermediate Unit at 455 Boot Road, Downingtown. Residents can use the box to remit real estate tax payments along with local tax returns and payments (for earned income taxes). Please place all submissions in an envelope labeled with the taxpayer's name, address, and phone number. Checks and money orders, only, no cash.
Other Payment Notes
Keystone assesses a $29.00 charge for returned checks.
Only certified funds will be accepted between December 15 and December 31 of a given tax year.
Your tax payment is due by the dates listed above. If payment is not made by December 31 of a tax year, your account will be considered delinquent and turned over for delinquent tax collections.
