Draft Ordinances

On October 14 the Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of an ordinance amending Section 325-14 and Section 325-45 of Chapter 325, "Zoning" of the West Whiteland Township Code of Ordinances to allow development pursuant to the IN-Institutional District overlay in the NC-Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District. Effective five (5) days from enactment. 

Newly Adopted Ordinances 

On June 24 the Board of Supervisors adopted an ordinance amending Chapter 224, “Parks and Open Space Regulations” of the West Whiteland Township Code of Ordinances to Revise Various General Rules, and Rules for Undeveloped Parkland and Commercial Operations. Effective five (5) days from enactment.

On June 10 the Board of Supervisors enacted an ordinance amending Chapter 129 of the West Whiteland Township Code of Ordinances, Uniform Construction Codes, Article III, One-and Two-Family Dwellings, by amending Section 129-25 "Establishing an Administration and Enforcement Policy for Residential Fire Sprinklers."

On April 22 the Board of Supervisors enacted an ordinance amending Section 325-13 of Chapter 325, "Zoning" of the West Whiteland Township code of ordinances regarding the Town Center mixed-use district amending the purpose; permitting certain accessory uses for hotels and motels; permitting retail stores; revising area and bulk requirements; and adding master plan requirements.

On January 22 the Board of Supervisors enacted an ordinance amending Chapter 30, "Manager", of the West Whiteland Township Code of Ordinances to eliminate outdated responsibilities, clarify lines of authority and include gender neutral language.

On January 22 the Board of Supervisors enacted an ordinance amending Section 281-87, "Subdivision and Land Development", of the West Whiteland Township Code of Ordinances regarding open space requirements.
