Township supervisors are reviewing candidate submissions to fill a vacant position on the Board of Supervisors, following the resignation of Dr. Joseph Denham. The Board formally accepted Joe's resignation at the public meeting on January 2, 2018. Joe, who served as supervisor for four years, resigned for personal reasons.
Under state law, the two remaining members of the Board must appoint a replacement by the end of January. This individual will serve the remaining two years of the vacant seat until the next municipal election in November 2019. The Board of Supervisors plan to announce their appointment at the January 24th Board of Supervisors meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m.
